Vision

To attain a capacity of serving as a hub for health professionals educational activities in the institution and adjoining health care facilities by promoting a collaborative culture and providing efficient linkage between novices and experts at National and international levels in promotion of health professions education.

Mission

Department implements the educational standards and provides environment conducive to nourish and nurture the basic and advanced activities for educational development of undergraduate, post graduate and faculty. To promote and develop a research culture and CPD among professionals is another important role of this department.

Research Activities

Faculty of the department is engaged in conducting educational research and supervises both under and post graduate students for developing research projects. As Faculty works in collaboration with other universities so they teach masters in health professions education courses as a visiting faculty and mentor and supervise master students in their research work. At the same time basic introductory course in medical teaching was run in collaboration with UHS, Lahore, all the faculty members and participants were provided with guidelines and supervision in developing educational research surveys and its write up.
