Department of Nephrology

Introduction

Department of Nephrology looks after care of renal failure patients either presenting via emergency or outdoor. Department is having 32 beds.
There are 2 dialysis units working under Nephrology Department .In Allied Hospital Dialysis unit is equipped with 20 Dialysis machines & Dialysis unit in DHQ has 28 dialysis machines performing in aggregate 210-220 Dialysis per day.
Department is fully recognized by CPSP for FCPS 3 postgraduates trained in department have passed FCPS & 1 trainee has passed MD Nephrology. Currently there are 5 Consultants in department. Department is headed by Dr.Bilal Javaid( Assistant Professor of Nephrology )
