Medical Unit-I is located at 2nd floor of Allied Hospital. Allied Hospital Faisalabad is a Teaching Hospital and Tertiary care unit with 1300 beds attached with Faisalabad Medical University, Faisalabad and is affiliated with University of Health Sciences, Lahore, recognized by General Medical Council UK and Medical Council of Ireland. It has all kinds of facilities including Radiology, Pathology, Blood Bank, and Well Equipped Laboratory and ICU.

Medical Unit-I comprises of 60 beds including High Dependency Unit (HDU) and handles all sorts of Medical cases including Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Neurology and Pulmonology. Prof Dr. Ahmed Bilal is the Incharge/Head of Medicine department, Faisalabad Medical University, Faisalabad. Our Unit receives Medical Emergencies and conducts Out Patient Care twice weekly. Department of Neurology having 25 beds also including in the Medical unit-I under the supervision of Dr. Javed Iqbal, Neurophysion.

Our Ward has 30 Post Graduate trainees of FCPS (Medicine), MD (Medicine) and MD (Neurology). Our ward is responsible for the lectures, ward classes, class tests of 3rd Year, 4th Year and Final Year MBBS. There are twice a week classes for postgraduates trainees and regular assessment tests. Our Ward conducts fortnightly CPC’s of Post Graduate Trainees, twice weekly lists of Upper and Lower GI Endoscopies.
