 Football Match played between the teams of Punjab Medical College, Faisalabd and Services Institute of Medical Sciences, Lahore.

A friendly Football match was played between the teams of Punjab Medical College, Faisalabad and Services Institute of Medical Sciences Lahore on 19^th April, 2009. PMC won the match by 2 goals to 1. The arrangements included a welcome Flex, Certificates, Winner’s trophy, Runners up Shield, Tent, Juices, Gifts for the Organizing Committee and Dinner for both the teams. Prof. Dr. Javed Iqbal, Dr. Imtiaz A Dogar, Dr. Najaf Gill and Dr. Rehman Gulzar were the members of the organizing committee who attended the match. Mr. J. A. Shahbaz (Director Physical Education) also worked hard to organize the match. The students organizers included; Awais Saeed Abbasi, M. Omer, Ahsan Arif, Zain-ur-Rehman, Taimoor Anwar, Shadab Masood, Iftikhar Nadeem and Masood Gondal. Every one worked very hard to make this match a successful one. Farhan Nadeem was the captain of PMC Football Team and M. Bilal Khalid was the captain of SIMS Football Team. Match started at 04:30 PM. Dr. Imtiaz A Dogar inaugurated the match by shaking hand with both the teams. All the students came to see the match in spite of harsh weather. Both the teams played enthusiastically and with great sportsman spirit. SIMS Football Team took the lead by scoring a goal in the 1^st half. During the half time juices were given to both the teams as refreshment. During the second half PMC Football Team scored an equalizer. Penalty shootouts were conducted which proved decisive and PMC Football Team won the match. Prize Distribution Ceremony was conducted in which Prof. Dr. Javed Iqbal and Dr. Imtiaz A Dogar gave certificates to both the teams. Winner’s trophy, Runners up shield and gifts for the organizing committee were given. In the end Photographic session took place and Dinner was served. SIMS Football team thanked PMC Sports Club and the Administration for organizing such a tremendous and well organized event and their manager Dr. Shoaib invited PMC Sports Club to come to SIMS. At last the SIMS Football Team departed with great memories.
