SCOPE
SOCIETY for EFFICIENT CAREER OPPORTUNITIES PMC
Punjab Medical College's most newest, innovative and informative
society SCOPE has hit the shore with all students since its
initiation in March 2010. The society was founded by the idea
of Muhammad Hassan Nadeem (Final Year MBBS) and is
governed by the Patron Chief, The Principal of Punjab Medical
College, Prof. Dr. Riaz Hussain Dab. Supervision is
overseen by Prof. Dr. Mussarat Ul Husnain, The Director
of Medical Education and Associate Prof. Dr. Khalid Mehmood of
the Anatomy Dept.
The idea for scope was conceived after it was noted amongst
students "how little awareness they had about career
counseling". SCOPE promises to promote knowledge about career
opportunities on a National and International level and by the
grace of The Almighty pledges to do so by regular Meetings,
Newsletters, Seminars and Presentations. It is hoped that SCOPE
aids all medical students in achieving success and a bright and
fortifying future.
