2011
On 17th March 2011, PMC witnessed yet
another successful Sports Day Closing ceremony leaving memories
to cherish by all the spectators over there. The Sports day was
superbly and magnificently celebrated at the commence of the
extravagant and pleasant season of spring in the Cricket stadium
of PMC that was adorned with an auspicious blend of color and
insignia each representing the well thought out ingenious theme
for each year that gracefully added to the charm of the spring
season.
The guests arrived at 10:00am who were warmly greeted by the
students. The

and others that evidently depicted the enthusiasm and fervent
attitude of the teachers towards the sports activities .
The ceremony started off with the Name of Allah
and then Naat.
All the classes were
allocated a color to carry out in the most innovative and
gorgeous way which they did.
BDS
was dazzling in their most
distinguished theme of Rainbow. The students skillfully
depicted the spring season branded for its delightful colors.
Girls and guys in colorful dresses did justice to their theme in
the most charming way.
1st year
was shining with all its glory in purple representing their
totally traditional fervor by their Desi & Gangster theme
with all the girls beautifully dressed in desi shalwar kameez
and wearing parandas and guys depicted the true portrait of
gangsters.
2nd year
was triumphant in selecting a theme that beautifully justified
the cultural side of the Red color. The Cultural theme
was represented in a very innovative way with girls depicting
diverse cultures flourishing in Pakistan.
3rd year
successfully brought the gambling tables from the city of Las
Vegas to PMC by showing off their Casino theme in green.
The gambling tables, the cards, the dice and the whole
environment took us to the city of Las Vegas. The girls in their
miraculous green outfits and guys in their Tuxedos and few in
Arabian dresses beautifully justified their themes that made
them stand out from the crowd.
4th year
pulled of the most
intellectual theme ever witnessed in PMC. Check mate indeed.
Chess theme with the color black was enthusiastically
depicted by the 4th yr students. With a king and
queen along with horses and others, the students successfully
captivated the attention of the audience.
And finally Final year
MBBS came with another prize winning theme that was beyond
conviction the most innovative theme ever thought of. Showing
off their Blue color the Final year justified their New York
Police Department (NYPD) Theme in the most ground-breaking
way. The final year enthralled each and every person in the
stadium with their attention-grabbing theme, with girls and guys
in vogue with the police department costumes. The reign of
terrorism finally ended when the NYPD cunningly arrested their
class topper for topping in class and making others students
depressed by his THEETAPAN. The overall environment of fun and
amusement really revived the true spirit of sports day.
The students actively participated in every
sports depicting their enthusiastic attitude towards
co-curricular activities perking up their spirit of competition
and sports. The prize distribution session started and gold,
silver and bronze medals were awarded to the 1st, 2nd
and 3rd position holders in various games. The prizes
were distributed to the teams and students having positions in
Cricket, Football, Hockey, Volley ball, Badminton, Basket ball,
Net ball, Body Building, Indoor games (Chess, Indoor Cricket,
Billiard, Carom, and Table Tennis) Athletics
{High
Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, Javelin Throw,400 Meters Race,200
Meters Sprint, 4 x 100 Meters Rely Race) . The respective
patrons of the games were invited one by one on stage to give
away the medals to the students securing positions in respective
games. Shields were given to the patrons as token of
appreciation for their effort to uplift the respective field of
sports.
Different games were played by the teachers and
students that keyed up the whole crowd in shouting for the
support of their favourite teams. 100 meter race was the
first game that was actively participated by all the year. Then
there was a musical chair round where first female
teachers and male teachers ardently participated that proved to
be a source of amusement for the participants and also the
spectators. Egg on spoon race, high jump and 4 X 100
Meters Relay Race among the students was an excellent
display of their talents in this field that was highly
appreciated and rewarded.
The Guest of honour the principal Prof. Dr.
Riaz Hussain Dub, Prof. Dr. Mehdi Raza Rizvi, Chairman Sports
and Mr. Tahir Hussain, Commissioner Faisalabad graced the
stage with their presence. Shields were presented to the guest
of honour as a token of our appreciation for their participation
and time in this event.The shields were awarded to the
Mian
J.A.Shahbaz, Director Sports,
Secretaries
Iftikhar
Nadeem (Boys) & Aimen Javed (Girls)
and then the additional secretaries and finally the Sports Day
Organizers were awarded with shields.
The Principal
Prof. Dr. Riaz Hussain Dub
aroused the spirit of the students by his inspiring speech. The
happiness of the students knew no bounds when the principal
declared a Holiday on the following Saturday. The event finally
ended with a cast of memories in the minds of spectators that
will be treasured by the teachers and the students forever.
