Tribute to our Great Leader"

In order to
pay homage to our great leader and the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam
Muhammad Ali Jinnah , Quaid’s Day was celebrated in PMC on 14th
of January, 2010. This day was celebrated with vigour in the College
Auditorium. The function was organized by the literary society of PMC and
started at 12 pm sharp after the arrival of the chief guest accompanied by
Principal, Prof.Dr. Riaz Hussain Dab. They were welcomed warmly by the
audience.
The
function started by the recitation of a few verses of the Holy Quran by
Hafiz Muhammad Yasin of 2nd year M.B.B.S . The function consisted
of three sessions. 1st session was the student session followed
by the teacher’s session and the final session was of prize distribution.
The function was hosted by Sir Najaf Imtiaz Gill of Pathology Department.
The Principal and chief guests along with Head of Physiology Department
Prof. Tasneem Cheema were seated on the stage.
Firstly the student session started and Mr. Shabad Masood of Final Year
delivered a welcome speech as General Sectary of Literary society. Then Iqra
Taqi and Izza of 2nd year M.B.B.S invited the speakers from
students. The following speakers spoke and discussed the various aspects of
personality of Quaid-e-Azam.

With
this the student session ended and the function proceeded to the next
session, The Teacher’s Session. The teachers gave a splendid performance and
whole of the audience were spell bound. The speakers were appreciated well
by the audience. At last there was prize distribution session. Principal was
requested along with chief guest to give prizes, shields and certificates to
the participants. Finally the function ended and the audience was requested
to have refreshment.
