Celebrating Expressions
at Parwaz 2010 Launch Ceremony
It’s a widely spread belief that science students lack
artistic talents and are focused on memorizing the
world-changing discoveries made by geniuses in their
respective field. But like all other science students,
students at PMC also defy this rule. Romance for
literature and desire to express, engulfs every soul
like a plague and to celebrate another year of keeping
this tradition of expression alive; “Parwaz” the college
magazine held its launching ceremony on 10th of May
2011.
Even in the scorching summer heat, the college
auditorium was buzzing with students who were eager to
read the new issue of the college magazine and had
gathered to show support to their talented colleagues
who had made valuable literary contributions to this
issue of Parwaz.
To give a glimpse into the new issue, the Parwaz team
had requested some contributors to recite their work and
entertain the audience. Areej Humayun from 4th year
recited a poem on Soul, Amna Liquate from 2nd year BDS
recited a Hamad, Mohammad Hanif from 2nd year recited a
poem in Punjabi. The crowd cheered with great joy when
Dr. Zafar Hussain Taskeen shared his valuable literary
creations. Prof. Dr. Janbaz Ahmed, chairman of Parwaz
addressed the audience and thanked Dr. Zafar in his
unique poetic manner.
Our worthy Principal, Prof. Dr. Riaz Hussian Dub
congratulated the students for their efforts and our
chief guest,Syed Tahir
Hussain, commissioner of Failsalabad encouraged
the students to keep this literary tradition alive.

Abbasi reminded the crowd of the talents they possess
and was thanked for his great work as the Parwaz team
leader. Also, shields were distributed to previous team
members with certificates and cash prizes were awarded
to winnners of sketch competition and title competition.
