(PUNJAB MEDICAL COLLEGE HISTORICAL SOCIETY)

  PMC-HS is the historical society of Punjab Medical College working under the patron ship of Prof. Dr. Raiz Hussain Dab (Principal PMC) and supervision of Prof. Dr. Tasneem Cheema (HOD Physiology). Other Members include:

• Prof. Dr. Hafiz Imtiaz (HOD Anatomy) 

• Prof. Dr. Janbaz Ahmed (HOD Pathology)

• Dr. Tahir Bashir ( Urology)

• Dr. Maham (Oncology)

• Awais Saeed Abbasi (Final Yr)

• Zain-ur-Rehman (Final Yr)

• Atiqa Mehmood (FInal Yr)

• Mr. A. R. Shaheen ( Office Superintendent)

• Lieutenant Colonel Rtd. Muhammad Khan (Incharge Internal Security)

 The first meeting of the society was held on 28th June at PMC conference room and following aims and objectives were decided:

• 1) Composition of a book on History of PMC

• 2) Exclusive interviews with the faculty members graduated from PMC

• 3) Platform for all overseas PMC graduates

• 4) Reconsideration of monogram for PMC

• 5) A particular name for PMC students and alumni

   Note:

Suggestions are welcomed for monogram of PMC and a particular name for PMC students and alumni. Send suggestions on pmcupdate@yahoo.com or to Prof. Dr. Taseem Cheema HOD physiology.
