DEPARTMENT
ACTIVITIES
Lectures,
practical and tutorials of undergraduate and postgraduate
students through most modern, methods with latest Audio-visual
aids from medical universities of England and Practical
Demonstrations are conducted in well equipped laboratories. The
students are involved in training for paper writing by giving
them regular assignment with references from most modern
journals.
ACHIEVEMENTS
The
department is chaired by Professor Dr. M. Naeem who is
an M.Phil in Pharmacology. He is doing Ph.D in
Pharmacology. He was awarded Junior Gold Medal award and prize
of Rs.10,OOOI- for winning all Pakistan Research Paper
competition by Pakistan Academy of Medial Sciences. He has eight
research paper in his credit. He is also member of Drug Court,
Sargodha & Faisalabad Division.1999.
The department is chaired by Professor Dr.
Muhammad Naeem Iqbal who is M.Phil in Pharmacology. He is doing
PhD in Pharmacology. He was awarded Junior Gold Medal award and
prize of Rs.10,000/- for winning all Pakistan Academy of medical
sciences. He has eleven research papers in his credit.
Dr. Muhammad Abid, Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Ch.
And Dr. Mansab Ali are working as A.P.M.O. in this department.
Dr. Farah Naz is working as demonstrator in
this department. Dr. Tanveer Ahmed has joined this department
recently as senior demonstrator.
Dr. Irfan Fareed and Dr. Safdar Bajwa are
working as demonstrators, who joined the department few months
ago. Dr. Muhammad Abid, Dr. Riaz Hassan, Dr. Muhammad Khalid
Bhatti, Dr. Obaid Anwar and Dr. Nazir Ahmed are doing their
M.Phill in pharmacology through direct enrolment programme by
the University of Health Sciences, Lahore.
Mrs. Fariha Nazneen, pharmaceutical chemist,
is M.Phil. She is doing PhD from University of Agriculture,
Faisalabad. She has 2 research papers in her credit.
