Workshop on Research Methodology

25,26 & 27th July |
|
Department of Medical Education has
arranged a workshop on Research Methodology on 25,26 & 27th
July 2008. It is supervised by Dr. Musarrat-ul-Hasnain (
Director Dept. of Medical Education). First two days will be
at CPSP center and the last day at Conference room Admin
block Punjab Medical College. The nominated faculty members
will attend the conference.

Suspension of Ahmadi Students |
Infact it was not
expulsion it was suspension for two week only.
"Students have been suspended on the basis of rule of 3 (iv)
of the college prospectus" The rule reads: A student may be
suspended form the university/college rolls for a period not
exceeding two weeks ... by the vice chancellor/principal of
the university/college, pending enquiry into the misconduct
of the students
2. Now high powered committee consisting of senior professor
has been constituted by Principal PMC Prof. Dr. Asghar Ali
Randhawa which includes
Prof. of Zahid Yaseen Hashmi, Prof.
Muhammad Ali Termzidi, Prof. Zahid
Iqbal, Prof.
Farooq Mian and Prof. Yousaf Shah the committee will
probe the matter and will listen to both the parties. This
committee will submit report to the principal in 2 to 3 days
regarding the incident.
3. There were no Anti-ahmadi campaign going on in the
College previously. Rather students of different sects and
religions were studying in the College peacefully with
harmony. There were sharing even rooms in the hostel. There
were two ahmadi Professor previously teaching in the College
have facing no discrimination having friendly relations with
their other colleagues.

inspected the emergency ward and other departments of Allied
Hospital. He keenly observed the working system and
procedures. He appreciated the management and services
provided in the hospital. |

Dr. Amir Aziz has been appointed
the Coordinator for Management of Emergency Trauma.... |

He was appointed as
the Coordinator for management of emergency trauma in Punjab
by the Chief Minister . He will be supervising the
managements work in emergency departments of all hospital in
Punjab. Further more , coordinators have been appointed for
each hospital . Dr. Sajid Sheikh ,(HOD S3) has been
appointed the coordinator for Allied Hospital, Faisalabad. |
