Our new Head
of Department Prof. Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed announced that after each
stage there will be conducted a function in the Anatomy Lecture
Hall to refresh the mind of students and also provide them an
opportunity to enjoy themselves. So this time on Wednesday, 3rd
June, 2009 there was a function arranged for us students. It
started at 11:00 in the Anatomy Lecture Hall. The ceremony
consisted of both curricular and extra curricular activities. The
hosting was done by Nabgha Khan. Prof. Dr. Hafiz Imtiaz Ahmed,
Madam Nabeela, Sir Anwar, Sir Maqbol, Madam Ruheena and Madam
Naveeda were also there. Officially the function was strated with
the recitation of Holy Quran by Hafiz Muhammad Yaseen followed by
Hymn by Ayesha Ayub. Then Khakan Ahmed was called on stage for
Naat.
Firstly the curricular session started and there were total three
presentations , First by Irfan on Finger Printing, Second by Hassan Sattar
on the movements of hand and Third by Talha Niaz on the Gait Cycle.
Then the co curricular session started. Firstly a skit was presented by
MAQBOLIANS (Faria Naeem, Komal Ghani, Huda Asif and Farah Latif) that was
"Sherry Rehman in PMC" . Then a Qawali was presented by group of boys.
Audience was enjoying these funny acts alot.
Then Fatima Madni came on stage and dedicated a poem to Quaid-e-Azam. It was
followed by poems by Hassan Sattar and Rahat Abbas. Finally Nimah Feroze
Gilani came on stage for dua. In the end our Head of Department came on
stage and honoured us with his kind words. With this the beautiful ceremony
ended and left marks on our hearts and minds.
