WHY DO WE STRIVE FOR

 EXCELLENCE WHEN MEDIOCRITY

 IS REQUIRED?

 By Arshi Arif 4th Yr

There is little demand in the world for excellence

But a much bigger demand for mediocrity.

Talent helps, but it won’t take us as far as ambition.

We all want to be good, but not all of us are prepared to make the sacrifices it takes to be great.

To many people, being nice in order to be liked is more important. There’s equal merit in that, but we must not confuse being good with being liked.

Most people are looking for a solution, a way to become good. There is no instant solution, the only way to learn is through experience & mistakes.

We can become whoever we want to be. We can achieve the unachievable.

Firstly we need to aim beyond what we are capable of.

We must develop a complete disregard for where our abilities end.

Try to do things that we are incapable of.

Make our vision of where we want to be in reality.

Nothing is impossible

                                 &

Don’t look for the next opportunity.

The one we have in hand is the opportunity. It may not be great, but at least we will have the satisfaction of knowing we did the best we possibly could.

Don’t be afraid of silly ideas. A new idea can be unfamiliar. It can’t be judged by description it needs to be done (made) to exist. When it can’t be done, Do it. If we don’t do it, it doesn’t exist.

It’s exciting

It’s difficult

But

Its fun

Silly ideas are outcome of mental Blocks. We all get mental Blocks, We need to get unblocked. The way is to lose our inhibitions & stop worrying about being right.

GIVE YOURSELF SOME SPIN

PLAY YOUR CARDS RIGHT

It’s not how good you are,

It’s how good you want to be.

Nearly all rich & powerful people are not notably talented, educated, charming or good looking. They become rich & powerful by wanting to be rich & powerful.

OUR VISION OF WHERE OR WHO WE WANT TO BE IS THE GREATEST ASSET WE HAVE.

WITHOUT HAVING A GOAL, IT’S DIFFICULT TO SCORE.
